John Davis serves as vice president of the Good Samaritan free medical clinic. He is a founding board member of the clinic, and has served on the board since it’s inception.

 

Mr. Davis is a retired bank executive having served 44 years in the financial services industry. He is active in many civic and charitable organizations and currently serves in executive and leadership roles with the Loaves and Fishes Community  soup kitchen of Columbus, the Golden Triangle Homeless Coalition, the Phillips Foundation, Trinity Senior Services , Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church vestry, Stephen D Lee Foundation, Mississippi school for Mathematics and Sciences Foundation, and  the Columbus Historical society. 

 

He has also served as president of the Columbus Rotary club, Columbus, Educational Foundation, the Golden Triangle Development LINK, United Way of Lowndes County, Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau and numerous other nonprofit organizations.
